Every day we receive lots of emails with the question: How can I help Relapse Prevention? Our number one request is that you get involved with an organisation or in your community, wherever you feel you can make a difference.
But for those of you who really want to help Relapse Prevention: Help us grow by promoting us on Facebook, or helping people with problems in our fourm and in the chat groups.
Facebook is currently the biggest source of traffic to www.RelapsePrevention.co.za – by promoting Relapse Prevention on Facebook you will also be promoting the more than 200 organisations listed with us. 36% of all the organisations listed with us do not have a website and are dependant on websites like www.RelapsePrevention.co.za to get exposure.
Please tell your Facebook friends about us.
Or copy / paste the following on your Facebook wall:
Hi everyone, please make a difference and follow Relapse Prevention on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RelapsePrevention/
As easy as that. You are off course welcome to write your own message but please remember to include the link to our Facebook page.
But you might say: I am not sure that my wall post will make a difference.
One of our Facebook followers recently posted about Relapse Prevention on her Facebook page. Her brother saw the post, started to follow us on Facebook and asked his friends to follow us. One of his friends saw his wall post, followed us and had a look at our website as their company was looking for an organisation to support. He found one, spoke to his colleagues and they are now supporting one of our organisations with a monthly cash donation.
Facebook + 3 people + 1 day = monthly support for one of our organisations.
If any one of these people thought that they could not make a difference then this monthly donation would probably never have started.
