For the last few years, we have been developing a programme that specifically uses mindfulness as a tool to facilitate recovery from substance use disorders. The programme has been designed around targeting the key psychology of addiction and provides a simple to use and understand working platform for people to fast track the psychoeducation and start mindful practices that will help them in the shortest timeframes possible.

This program has been developed by in combination with Relapse Prevention South Africa and Recovery Direct which is arguably one of the best recovery centres in South Africa. The Mindful Recovery programme uses specific neurolinguistic programming techniques to seed the core concepts of cognitive behavioural therapy through mindfulness to deliver the programme to people struggling with substance use disorders.

The programme is set to launch early in 2020 with the online practice and cover a broad range of topics related to personal recovery processes.
